We all know that life has its ups and down. The same holds true for our musical instruments and equipment. For those "down" times, Kincaid's Repair Dept. is there for you.

Kincaid's Is Music has a full time, fully staffed service department. We service band and orchestra instruments as well as guitars and certain electronics (home electronics excluded). Our large repair facility is equipped with the latest repair tooling valued by our industry.

Our head technician, Mr. Loren Gladson, has been with Kincaid's for 20 years, is a member of the National Association of Professional Band Instrument Repair Technicians, and is fully trained in all aspects of instrument repair. He attended the Allied School of Instrument Repair and is a graduate of the Red Wing Instrument Repair program.

His customers include music professors, students, and professional musicians from all over the Miami Valley. His assistants include our guitar/bass technician Tony Powell, and Mary Todey (woodwinds).

Mr. Gladson has hosted workshops on repair and maintenance at many area schools, and has been a source of information and advice for other technicians in the area.

On request, he regularly attends marching festivals and contests to ensure smooth equipment operation.
